I have been a fan of Audible audio books practically since their founding, and long before Amazon purchased them. Originally, my downloads were via dial-up which took forever, but it was worth it. Now it is so easy, and quick with DSL. Most of the non-tech books I “read” are in Audible format. Without Audible, my non-tech book completions would be very small.
I had fallen away from Audible books for no particular reason. I have reaquainted myself with Audible recently, and just completed “The Broker”. When I first enrolled with Audible many years ago, I listened to all of the John Grisham novels that were available in audio format at that time. I intend to catch up with the Grisham novels recently released in audio format .
“The Broker” was excellent. The novel was never boring, the characters were very interesting, and the length was just about right. I listened to the book on a mobile device while riding the T (Boston’s local transit}, waiting for movies to start, and while sitting out in the nice spring weather Boston had recently experienced. If you like a good novel, try “The Broker”, or any other Grisham novel – they are all excellent.
