Saw Avatar: 3D at the Regal Fenway tonight. The quality of animation, 3D, and overall CGI were all phenomenal. From a technical pov, this is one of the best movies made. Storyline is another matter at least for me. I am tired of the usual corporate greed theme that seems to permeate movies lately. I know it is “in” to attack corporations, but like anything else, too much gets sickening after awhile. The bonding between the two main characters is fine, just let’s stop with all the constant corporation bashing. Although I wasn’t crazy about the storyline, I still recommend this movie based on the technical aspects you will see. I can not recall a movie with better animation, CGI, or 3D. Avatar is a must see if you have any interest in cinema technology, and definitely see it in 3D.
