My end-of-month weigh-in revealed a 5 pound loss since February 15th, a loss of 9 pounds for February 2011, and a total loss of 132 pounds since November 29, 2009. As expected, I am still euphoric, and ecstatic with the loss. I am pleasantly surprised I am still loosing at this rate since, although I limit junk food / desserts, I still eat what I want each day for a combined lunch / dinner at my favorite restaurants.
I have been recording my weight daily since May of 1993, and I am quite pleased that my current weight is the lowest number in this database by 2 pounds. Although I don’t have daily records before 1993, I believe my current weight is the lowest since the 1980 / 1981 era. Bottom line is my current weight is my lowest in somewhere between 18, and 30 years, and am confident it is the 30 year time span.
Due to normal fluid / weight fluctuations, I may be a pound or two heavier for the next few days; however, I know that within a few days, future entries in my weight database will be setting new records for lowest weight. I would like to loose another 18 pounds or so before evaluating whether to start maintenance mode, or continue the loss.
I realize my biggest challenge will be to keep the weight off once I start maintenance mode. Previous successful weight losses ultimately failed with my regaining all the lost weight along with a significant bonus each time. I am determined I will not let that happen again.
