My end-of-month weigh-in revealed a loss of 3 pounds since the 15th of the month for a total loss of 8 pounds in January, and 123 pounds since November 29, 2009. I am, as expected, ecstatic with the loss, and still surprised I managed this immense loss by just eliminating desserts, popcorn / candy at movies, in-between meal treats, and limiting my evening snack to an apple.
I still wish to loose a total of 150 pounds, and realize loosing the remaining 27 pounds probably will be more difficult. Due to normal weight fluctuations, I may gain a pound a two, but should remain above the immense 120 pound weight lost milestone permanently.
I have to constantly focus to ensure I do not fall back into some of my old weight gaining behaviors while I savor achieving this significant weight loss.
